Key qualifications
Christian has a strong background in climate change and renewable energy policy, particularly from a legal and economic perspective. He has worked with renewable energy projects (wind, biomass, electric vehicles) on both the national and international level, and has technical and policy experience related to carbon capture and sequestration, enhanced oil recovery, and the oil sands projects in Alberta, Canada.

Christian holds business and law degrees from the University of Alberta and graduated from Roskilde University’s Technological and Socio-Economic program in June of 2008. Previous studies focused on climate change the CDM, and international environmental policy. His Master’s Thesis focused on carbon capture and sequestration and enhanced oil recovery, particularly with respect to the oil sands projects in Alberta, Canada.
