Strategy for waste incineration in relation to the EU ETS

In 2010, Ea Energy Analyses made an assessment for waste denmark and RenoSam of the advantages and drawbacks of including the Danish waste incineration sector in the EU's Emission Trading Scheme (ETS). Based on the conclusions from this report, waste denmark and RenoSam have commissioned Ea Energy Analyses to continue working on the subject in 2011. The ambition was to involve the Danish authorities in the development of a common Danish negotiating position as well as to coordinate Danish assessments with international activities within this field.
