Balmorel calculations for analysis of P1 in FinlandEa Energy Analyses has carried out a study for Fingrid with the main purpose of assessing the significance of dividing Finland into separate bid areas or Elspot areas divided by P1 - a bottleneck in the Finnish power system separating the Northern and Southern parts of the country.
Additional analyses with the same Balmorel model The analyses were made using the same Balmorel model as was used in a prior study on congestion management in the Nordic power market commissioned by the Nordic Council of Ministers.
