Ea Energy Analyses has made a scenario report which indicates that the deployment of renewables, and especially wind and solar power, provides substantial benefits for the South African power system. Furthermore, on behalf of the National Treasury of South Africa, Ea Energy Analyses has calculated the expected levelised cost of wind power in South Africa in 2011.

Balmorel User Group meetings

The first Chinese Balmorel User Group meeting took place in Beijing on 25 March 2011, and the first international Balmorel User Group meeting was held in Copenhagen on 17-18 January 2011. Ea Energy Analyses helped organise both meetings, together with CEPRI and RAMløse edb, respectively. Read more

BALREPA - Baltic Rotating Energy Planning Academy

One of the outcomes of the project "Energy Perspectives for the Baltic Sea Region - Setting an agenda for the future" (2009) is a recommendation to establish a common regional training programme to strengthen the capacities in energy planning among officials at local and national levels. As a consequence, BASREC and the Nordic Council of Ministers have launched BALREPA - the Baltic Rotating Energy Planning Academy. Read more
