Ea Energianalyse has carried out an analysis of the potential for rooftop solar PV in Hillerød Municipality. The analysis is intended to support Hillerød Municipality’s strategic energy and climate work.
The analysis was conducted using GIS software, applying a model developed by Ea Energianalyse for this purpose. The results consist of an assessment of the total potential for rooftop solar PV in terms of installed capacity (MW) and annual electricity production (MWh). As part of the analysis, Ea also carried out a mapping of solar PV regulations in Hillerød Municipality’s local development plans, as well as an economic assessment of investments in solar PV.
