For use in the preliminary and final 2021 annual energy statistics done by the Danish Energy Agency, Ea Energy Analyses estimated the consumption and import of solid biofuels based on, among other things, interviews with selected actors from the field and knowledge from specific projects. The estimate includes the usage of straw, wood chips, firewood, wood pellets, and wood waste outside the supply sector, as well as the import of biofuels in 2021.
