Ea Energy Analyses supports the Danish–Egyptian energy partnership by strengthening Egypt’s long-term electricity sector planning and its ability to integrate large shares of renewable energy. Together with the Danish Energy Agency and key Egyptian energy institutions, Ea has helped to develop and refine the Balmorel-Egypt power system model, conduct data and scenario workshops, and build national modelling capacity through targeted training programs.
The project delivers the first Egypt Electricity Sector Outlook—an analytically robust, publicly sourced, scenario-based assessment of Egypt’s power system development. Through missions, hands-on training, and continued modelling support, Ea contributes to a stronger institutional foundation for evidence-based decision-making and a sustainable energy transition in Egypt.
