The goal of the project is to analyse the possibilities and obstacles to implementing the charging infrastructure for a new electric ferry to replace the Tunø ferry. The analysis has a strong focus on possibilities for grid connection and the potential addition of a battery system in Hou Harbour. Synergies with electrification of other ferries that use the same harbour were also included in the analysis.
The project was carried out for Odder Municipality and ran from May to June 2024
