As part of an analysis for Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP), Ea has done an estimate of the green transition of the European energy system by setting up various scenarios.
One of the scenarios, labelled the “green scenario”, a modelled energy system 100% free from fossil fuels, was compared to the “no transition” scenario, where LCOE calculations were carried out for an energy system like the current one.

The project ran from July 2023 to January 2024.
