Anders works with modelling and analysis of energy systems with a specific focus on district heating systems, electrification, industry and energy system flexibility. Since 2017 he has worked with heat load dispatching in the greater Copenhagen area with both modelling, developing user focused tools and ongoing user support.
He holds an MSc degree from DTU within Sustainable Energy and a BSc in Chemical Engineering. During his studies, he also attended courses at both Technical University of Munich and Copenhagen Business School. In his thesis he analysed the effect of demand side flexibility on the electrification of the industry sector, using the energy system model Balmorel.
Anders is also an accomplished sea kayaker with national championship titles, a decade of teaching experience in Denmark and abroad, as well as his own kayaking company.
