Emil is an energy analyst focusing on energy system modelling and district heating optimisation. At Ea Energy Analyses, he works on the development of the Varmelast model, which is used to optimise the operation of the Greater Copenhagen district heating system. His work includes model development, data integration, analysis of operational strategies, and implementation of new functionalities.
In addition, Emil has worked on projects in Denmark and internationally involving analyses of ancillary service markets, including assessments of the revenue potential of providing ancillary services from flexible energy assets. He has also contributed to techno-economic analyses of onshore renewable energy projects, focusing on investment profitability and risk assessment under different market and regulatory conditions.
