Jakob combines knowledge about strategic energy planning and electricity markets with knowledge of economic theory and statistical analysis of data. He has worked on a large long-term strategy project for Lithuanian TSO Litgrid and other smaller long-term analyses of natural gas, solar and wind potentials for municipalities and energy companies. In his thesis he worked on econometric models for probabilistic forecasting of day-ahead prices in the Nordic power market.
Jakob holds a MSc. in Financial Economics from the University of Maastricht and a BSc. in Strategic Energy Planning from University of Roskilde.
