This week, Ea consultants Luis Boscan and Francesco Gaballo are in Jakarta, Indonesia, to conduct a System Adequacy training.
The training is based on SysifosR – a Monte Carlo simulation-based model that estimates key reliability indicators such as Expected Energy Not Served (EENS), Loss of Load Expectation (LOLE), and Loss of Load Probability (LOLP).
Besides the training, Ea has been working on a system adequacy report for Indonesia, based on the most recent version of the Indonesia Balmorel model. The work in this project is carried out for the Danish Energy Agency.
Luis and Francesco are kindly hosted by our partners from PT PLN (Persero) and the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) as part of the Indonesia–Denmark government-to-government energy cooperation.
We have extensive experience in providing training and capacity building for energy planning – do reach out if you would like to know more.
