This project aims to explain what energy communities are, outline the key concepts involved, and describe the opportunities and limitations they present for citizens and local communities. The report also provides a brief overview of Radius’ proposal for local collective tariffing, along with the relevant regulations and framework conditions, which are further detailed in the appendices.
To give citizens and other stakeholders insight into the economic perspectives of energy communities in Lejre Municipality, the report presents a series of economic scenarios based on the town of Kirke Hyllinge. These scenarios illustrate how different models for energy communities may influence local energy solutions, economic outcomes, and opportunities for collaboration in future projects.
