Nordvind – coordination of wind power expansion in the Nordic countries

Location | January 2006 - December 2008

Nordvind is a project under the Nordic Council of Ministers’ Working Group for Renewable Energy. The Nordvind working group comprises representatives of the authorities in Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark. Ea Energy Analyses was the secretariat to the group from 2006 to the end of 2008.

Nordvind aims to coordinate on- and offshore wind power expansion in the Nordic countries through exchange of experience and mutual problem solving. The main focus is the authorities’ planning and procedures for handling of wind power projects. However, other conditions for integration of wind power are also included in the work.
