Ea has developed a load dispatch IT tool, named “Varmelastværktøj”, with integration of the existing models and systems at ARC (waste disposal company in Copenhagen), as well as development of an energy optimising model, a database, and a web interface.
The tool will help ARC contribute to the joint economic optimisation of the CHP plants in the capital area, which is carried out by Varmelast.dk. The solution works automatically with the least possible manual interventions and will be a natural part of the daily operations. The project was carried out in cooperation with Level 3 Technology ApS, who was responsible for the database and web interface.
The project ran from November 2022 to February 2024.
