As a part of the EU-China Energy Cooperation Platform (ECECP), the ENTSO-E grid planning modelling showcase had an overall objective of demonstrating whether the European methodology of transmission planning could be of use in China. ENTSO-E is the European association for the cooperation of transmission system operators (TSOs) for electricity.
The project was recently completed with a final seminar, and a report covering the key learnings was published, titled “ENTSO-E Grid Planning Modelling Showcase for China”. Ea Energy Analyses has been the project lead and has edited and contributed to the report.
