Key qualifications

Karla has experience within energy system modelling, renewable energy technologies, electricity and heat markets, energy production forecasting and project management. Besides her master’s degree in electrical engineering, Karla holds a diploma degree in specialised journalism, and she uses this dual expertise to ensure clear and approachable communication of highly technical subjects tailored to the relevant user needs.

As a consultant with Ea Energy Analyses, Karla has contributed to various modelling and advisory services both nationally and internationally. Karla’s previous work experience includes electrical design of large-scale solar parks in Europe, as well as analyzing solar power production patterns in Nordic Solar A/S, and a position at HOFOR A/S developing, configuring, and maintaining forecasting models for optimising power and heat trade for Amagerværket CHP plant.
