Ea Energy Analyses carried out an analysis of the markets for selected biomass resources and evaluated the consequences of the market development for utilisation on a local level in the municipalities of Randers, Norddjurs and Syddjurs. The selected resources include slurry for biogas, straw, wood pellets and wood chips.
The analysis was carried out for CBMI – Innovation Centre for Bioenergy and Environmental Technology which was part of the international project Enercoast, which aimed at developing a market for biomass in the North Sea region in cooperation with partners from Germany, United Kingdom, Norway and Sweden. CBMI was head of the Danish portion of the Enercoast project.
