In connection with the Danish Energy Agreement of March 2012, it was agreed to establish a Biogas Task Force, whose purpose was to follow up on the objective of exploiting up to 50% of livestock manure for biogas in 2020 and to identify any barriers to this biogas development.
Ea Energy Analyses and PlanEnergi were the main consultants for Biogas Task Force and helped analysing how biogas can be integrated in the Danish energy system in the most appropriate way from a corporate and socio-economic point of view.
