Ea Energy Analyses provided ad hoc assistance in developing and using the Balmorel model for analysis and development of the power system in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. The TSO’s Elering ÖU, Augstsprieguma tīkls AS and LitGRID AB had decided to collaborate and to use the Balmorel model for developing the power system.
Ea Energy Analyses assisted during the initial update and adaption of the model, data collection and validation plus model runs and solving errors. In addition, support was provided for setting up the model for scenario analysis and interpretation of results.
