Litgrid AB is currently planning to synchronize with continental Europe and has several other large projects underway, related to the expansion and integration of renewable electricity.
On this backdrop, Ea Energy Analyses prepared a strategy study for Litgrid AB, investigating current electricity sector trends, innovations and Europe’s leading TSO’s best practices, creating a basis for Litgrid AB’s new long-term strategy.
As part of the study Ea Energy Analyses overviewed the latest development trends in the European electricity sector and current development strategies of European TSOs. Building on this information, the study assisted Litgrid AB in defining the goals of a modern and smart TSO, providing recommendations for strategic priorities and innovative measures for Litgrid AB to undertake.
The project was implemented in cooperation with Ecofys, KPMG and Glimstedt.
