Strategic energy planning in Aarhus

In this project, Ea Energy Analyses provided technical counselling and assistance to the strategic energy planning for Aarhus municipality.

The goal of the project was to have a joint energy strategy developed, which should be a part of the planning and investment plans for the energy companies and the municipality. The energy strategy was prepared on the basis of mapping and analyses/scenarios, in order to ensure a well thought out energy system that contributes to an efficient and sustainable transition.

The first phase of the project was mapping, which laid the ground for a joint view of the energy system in Aarhus; this was followed by an analysis/scenario phase and a strategy phase.
