Socio-economics related to the production of 2nd generation bioethanol

Denmark | September 2009 - November 2009

Ea Energy Analyses has prepared a report on the socio-economic aspects related to the production of 2nd generation bioethanol. The project was carried out for Partnerskabet for Biobrændstoffer – biobrændstof.com (biofuel) and was published in November 2009.

The scope of the report is the socio-economic costs related to the reduction of CO2 in the Danish transport sector using this particular technology. The analysis was carried out on the basis of a full-scale second generation bioethanol plant that is presumed to be in operation by the year 2015.
