The AFI directive (AFI stands for “alternative fuels infrastructure”) was passed in the EU in 2014. As a result of this, the member states must send in documentation on their implementation and results towards a fossil free transport sector.
Ea Energy Analyses supported the Ministry of Transport and Housing in their reporting on the implementation of the AFI directive.
Information was gathered on the development and prevalence of technologies, their commercial potential, and the expectations for them that relevant players have. This was done through data and literature collection and reviews, and through interviews with relevant market players.
The results were presented in a report and in an excel sheet.
The project ran from July 2019 to January 2020.
