Ea Energy Analyses has carried out a draft analysis of the economics of establishing a gas line for future supply of gas to the Nordic Sugar factories.
The conclusion is that a full or partial electrification of the sugar factories most likely would result in better economics for the company and the best social economy, and that establishing the gas line could become a “stranded cost”.
The analysis was carried out in June 2022 for DR (the Danish Radio Broadcast).
