Ea Energy Analyses has developed a country-specific energy technology catalogue for Ethiopia, in close cooperation with the Ethiopian Ministry of Water, Irrigation and Energy (MoWIE) and the state-owned electricity company Ethiopian Electric Power (EEP).
The technology catalogue will help strengthen the ability of the Ethiopian government and authorities to make decisions regarding the expansion of the Ethiopian electricity supply.
Capacity building with the Ethiopian partners was also included in the project, to enable them to update the catalogue in the future.
The project was carried out for the Danish Energy Agency and ran from June 2020 to April 2022.
