Strategic energy plan for Holbæk Municipality

Denmark | November 2019 - September 2020

The Danish government has set a target for reducing the emission of greenhouse gasses by 70% in 2030, compared to 1990. Meeting the target requires new policies and a change of regulations on a national basis, but it will also to a high degree depend on actions done on a municipal level.

On this background, Holbæk Municipality is making a strategic energy plan, which is to be the basis for decision making on changing the energy sector towards a more sustainable and green transition, both with short-term and long-term actions.

Ea Energy Analyses aided in developing the strategic energy plan and has made the calculations underlying it. In addition, a plan of action describing the measures to be taken has been made, along with a background report containing technical descriptions.

The project ran from November 2019 to September 2020. More information on the strategic energy plan can be found on the Holbæk Municipalitiy website.
