The Danish Energy Agency publishes technology catalogues with key data for the technologies that have a central role in the green transition, including biogas production and upgrading. In light of the development of biogas plants that has taken place in the recent years, the Danish Energy Agency assessed that it was relevant to update the chapters on biogas production and upgrading in the “Technology catalogue for renewable fuels” (the catalogue can be found here).
The chapters were last updated in 2017, where Ea Energy Analyses was in charge of the update. In this project Ea once again updated the data sheets and the qualitative chapter text, as well as the associated references.
The project ran from July 2022 to February 2023.
