Ea to advise Danish CHP’s as governmental aid scheme ends

| On going - On going

Along with NIRAS, PlanEnergi, BDO and Advokatfirmaet Energi & Miljø, Ea Energy Analyses have been given the task of giving advice for the many CHP’s that are vulnerable to rises in heat prices, as the governmental aid scheme has ended.

The state has allocated 26 mio. kr to support small CHP’s based on natural gas that have received the governmental support for the past years. The Danish Energy Agency manages the support and has during the spring selected the consultants, who will oversee the effort in the coming four years.

The counselling will be free for the CHP’s and cover analyses and calculations of the production of the plant, options for expansion of the heating foundation and optimization of the district heat grid in relation to the individual needs of the plant. Furthermore, support can be given for merges of plants or complete or partial closure of district heating networks.
