Andreas has an MSc in Enginnering in the field of “Sustainable Energy Planning and Management” from Aalborg University, and he works as a consultant at Ea Energy Analyses.
He has experience in a broad range of challenges within the energy sector, especially within strategic energy planning and municipal climate politics.
Andreas has carried out energy and emissions accounts for several Danish municipalities, including Ikast-Brande, Køge, Helsingør, Ballerup, and Lejre. The accounts map the energy usage and production of the municipality, carbon emissions, and resource usage, which has given Andreas in-dept knowledge of municipal accounting methods and practices. Based on these accounts, Andreas has contributed to scenarios and assessments of the actions taken by the municipalities in regards to their energy and climate targets. In addition, he has contributed to the development of several municipal energy and climate plans, as well as actions plans.
