The Danish Embassy in Vietnam, in collaboration with Vestas, organized Wind Energy Workshops in Vietnam, featuring relevant Danish and international stakeholders within wind energy.
At the workshops, alongside presentations from Vietnamese and international stakeholders, the Danish experts (Danish Energy Agency, Energinet.dk, Ea Energy Analyses) were sharing best practice and Danish-Vietnamese collaboration projects.
The objective of the workshop was to discuss opportunities for wind energy in Vietnam, and how wind energy can contribute to Vietnam’s ambitions for the future, as well as to share the Danish experiences with wind power deployment and integration.
The workshop addressed themes of diversified renewable energy production, financing, transmission and integration of wind energy.
Ea Energy Analyses participated with a presentation on the development of the Vietnamese electricity sector – in a regional perspective by Aisma Vītiņa.
The workshops were held on November 29th and December 1st, 2016 in HaNoi and Ho Chi Minh City, respectively.
