Nina Dupont brings a strong analytical background and expertise in energy systems, with a particular focus on power system modelling, offshore wind and other variable renewable energy integration and system adequacy studies. She has extensive experience with scenario analyses, assessing the benefits of different flexibility measures and developing CO₂ emission reduction pathways to support the clean energy transition.
Nina is proficient in a range of mathematical energy models and has built specialist expertise in the Balmorel model for power system analyses. She has led and contributed to projects involving model development, implementation, and capacity building across a diverse portfolio of countries, including Mexico, Vietnam, South Africa, Ethiopia, Egypt, Indonesia, Turkey, and Europe.
